Today there is a scientific consensus regarding the existence of consciousness in ducks, as well as all other species of poultry and birds. They are sentient beings, capable of feeling fear, pain and other subjective experiences.
This footage was captured in an Israeli ducks slaughterhouse. As the investigation clearly shows, the ducks remain alive after the slaughter, some enter the feathering machine fully conscious. The fear and panic of these gentle creatures is very visible.
